Hi, I’m Binta. As a Global Consultant and Educator, my mission is to help students navigate the exciting yet complex journey to higher education.

As a Third Culture Kid (TCK) born to multicultural parents, I’ve spent my life moving between local and international schools. I truly understand the unique in-between space many of you navigate.

My own path began with EducationUSA in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, where I specialized in helping international students master the intricacies of the application process-from narrowing down the right-fit schools to demystifying standardized testing and crafting essays that honor your unique global story.

Following several years at the U.S. Embassy, I transitioned to the International School of Ouagadougou as the K-12 School Counselor. Working within the heart of an international community allowed me to deepen my global network and focus on the holistic needs of every student. I’ve had the privilege of guiding applicants to successful admissions at prestigious institutions worldwide, including: Dartmouth College, the University of British Columbia, the University of Guelph, Virginia Commonwealth University, among many others.

Beyond college counseling, I am a certified TESOL teacher, a French instructor, and a dedicated educational consultant for community-based non-profits. I truly love helping students turn their "global baggage" into their greatest strength, and there is nothing I enjoy more than watching you step confidently into the university of your dreams!
